What's the difference between heated and climate controlled storage?

We offer two types of special units for temperature-sensitive items. A heated unit is heated through the winter but not cooled in the summer. A climate-controlled unit is one that is heated to 55° in the winter and cooled to 70°in the summer, keeping the interior at a moderate temperature. This is the ideal storage solution for temperature-sensitive items such as electronics, antiques, or musical instruments.

Do you have onsite managers?

Yes, our facilities have onsite managers with set office hours. 

Is there electricity in my storage unit?

Some of our units come with electrical outlets, but it is available on select units only. Please contact the facility manager for the specific location you're interested in.

What are the gate hours?

Our gate hours are from 6am to 10pm daily, including holidays.

What’s the minimum lease term?

All of our leases are month-to-month.  There are specials you can take advantage of if you are looking to store for a longer term.


How do I leave a review?

We encourage customers to leave a review on Google or Yelp. We always appreciate our customers' honest feedback.

Can I live in a storage unit?

No, you are not allowed to live in a storage unit. Attempting to do so will result in us terminating your contract.

What can't I store?

We don't allow perishable items such as food, things that produce a noxious smell, anything flammable, or explosives.

Do you require insurance?

Although we do not require you to have insurance, it is recommended. However, it is a tenant's responsibility to find coverage for any personal belongings being stored.

Can I move from one Location to another?

Absolutely. Please note that pricing from store-to-store varies based on each location's availability, so your current price will not transfer. The best place to start is by talking to the manager at your existing property.

Can I change storage unit?

We're happy to help you select a different unit should you find that your needs have changed. If you signed a contract, then you might need to wait for the contract term to end before transferring.

What is the cancellation policy?

We require written notice a minimum of 10 days prior to your paid through date. No prorated rent is allowed. If proper notice is met the unit must be empty and the lock needs to be removed.  If the lock is not removed, rent will continue to cycle.

Can I rent storage online without going in person?

You will be required to stop by the office to check in on moving day. We will give you a free lock, show you your storage unit and go over gate access.

Can I rent self storage for another person?

No, you can't rent a storage unit for another person. 

What do I need to bring to rent a storage unit?

You will need to provide a government issued photo ID. You will also need to pay for the first month's rent and admin fee.

How do I rent a storage unit?

You can rent a storage unit on our website or in-person during the facility's office hours.  If you call or stop by, our storage experts will be happy to help you navigate the rental process.
